Taylor Long

I'm so fortunate to be a teacher at a wonderful school like Bolin! This is my fifth year teaching, but I have been a Bolin Brave since I was in third grade. As a former Bolin Brave, teaching here feels like home. I couldn't ask for better students and families to work with. Each year I teach seems like the best one yet. I'm excited to see what year four has in store!

I grew up in East Peoria and attended Armstrong, Bolin, CJHS, and EPCHS. Many teachers that I had inspired me to become an educator myself! I then went on to attend Saint Louis University and studied Elementary Education and Psychology.

When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time reading or being with my family at the lake relaxing! I'm married to my high school sweet heart. We have one super cute kiddo, Duncan, and one super cute dog, Lola. Duncan is two and a half and loves to read books and play with Lola! I'm an avid Harry Potter fan I would love to visit Universal Studios sometime.
